Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SecondInbox (the "Service"), a free disposable email service. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We are also committed to protecting your privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy.

1. Nature of the Service

SecondInbox provides temporary, disposable email addresses that can receive messages for a limited time. The Service makes no warranty of reliability or suitability for any purpose, and its availability may be changed or removed at any time by its owners. You agree to access SecondInbox data only through the SecondInbox website.

2. Public Nature of Emails

Any email sent to SecondInbox, or emails you induce other sites or persons to send, may be visible to anyone who knows or guesses the inbox address. Messages become effectively public domain once in the system, with no expectation of privacy for their content. You agree not to use the Service to receive, store, or view emails containing private, sensitive, or confidential information, and not to register important accounts with a temporary address. We have no control over material sent to temporary mailboxes.

3. Receive-Only and Retention

The Service is for receiving emails only; you cannot send email through it. Messages and inboxes are stored temporarily and are automatically and permanently deleted when they expire. Domains available through the Service may change at any time. Once removed, emails or domains cannot be restored.

4. Optional Accounts

Registering an account is optional and lets you manage your inboxes. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service, directly or indirectly, for any unlawful purpose or for any of the following:

  • Fraud, phishing, or any form of financial crime.
  • Sending, receiving, or distributing content related to illegal activities, harassment, threats, malware, or other malicious material.
  • Creating accounts on third-party services for the purpose of spam, abuse, or violation of those services' terms.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or interfering with its operation, including circumventing rate limits or other technical restrictions.
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service, without prior notice, for any user who violates this policy. If you become aware of misuse of the Service, please report it via our contact page.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. We make no warranty that the Service will meet your requirements or be available on an uninterrupted, secure, or error-free basis. We make no warranty regarding the availability of specific domains or addresses, or the storage of any emails already received.

7. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

You agree to hold SecondInbox harmless from any damages arising from loss of emails, the content of emails, damage to your computer from viewing emails, or any direct or indirect use of the Service. You will indemnify SecondInbox and its operators, employees, and agents against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms or the operation of the Service at our sole discretion, at any time, and without liability. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Your Consent

By using SecondInbox, you consent to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
